Gardens of Mexico receives SECTUR certificate for preserving natural wealth

Gardens of Mexico recreates diverse environments, landscapes and flora thanks to the generous climate of the state of Morelos. In this way, it offers a tour of gardens that evoke environments such as the hot tropics, the Italian Renaissance, the exotic airs of Japan or the wonderful diversity of Mexican Cactaceae.
This place has the most modern trends in sustainability, ecological coexistence and respect for the environment.

It is for this reason that this 2019 received, through the Secretariat of Tourism (SECTUR), the “Distinctive S”. This is a certificate for sustainable good practices and the development of tourism projects.

On June 12, 2019, Daniel Altafí, Director General of
Jardines de México, por parte de Margarita González, titular de la Secretaría de Tourism and culture (STyC) this recognition, which emphasizes good sustainable practices in the development of tourism projects.

The main objective of the implementation of the “S badge” is to take advantage of the tourism potential of Mexico, support and increase projects that preserve natural and cultural richness, through the conservation and improvement of natural resources.

The Food Festival is a family event full of fun, so bring your family and friends, and to those who want to experience the culture and gastronomy of Latin America, the Caribbean and Observer States of the OAS. This event brings the public to a corner of each participating country through the tasting of typical meals and the exhibition of handicrafts, music, dances and Customs. Visitors also have the opportunity to participate in the Grand Draw held during the Festival, with the opportunity to win fabulous prizes such as plane tickets, electronic devices, gift baskets and restaurant certificates.

This event is possible thanks to the contribution of numerous collaborators and sponsors, such as Permanent Missions and observer missions, the Organization of American states and many individuals and companies. The key to the success of the Food Festival over the years has been the generosity of all those who have worked unconditionally by providing their time, monetary or other donations. With the help of more than 120 volunteers from diplomatic missions, schools, congregations and universities, the Organization of women of the Americas (OMA) has been able to organize a successful event.
